Getting a bronze statue of yourself outside of a sports arena is a big fuckin' deal. It immortalizes you as a player and proves that you've left a legacy behind that can never be touched. Unfortunately, Scottie Pippen ain't getting a statue outside the United Center in Chicago. Boo-hoo. But, he is going to be honored by the Bulls on April 7 with a bronze bust that will be displayed inside the United Center. So it's almost like a statue...but, well, it's not.
