The thing that NFL players seem to want to get across to us in the midst of a lockout: We don't know shit about what goes on behind-the-scenes in the league. Unfortunately, a few have started using an analogy to slavery to try and get us to understand. Shortly after Adrian Peterson did it earlier this week, Rashard Mendenhall backed up his statement on Twitter—where else?!—and then immediately got caught up in a retweeting war with his followers. Hmmm...Call us crazy, but there has to be a better way for players to get their point across here, no? [via Shutdown Corner]
@AdrianPeterson is correct in his anology of this game. It is a lot deeper than most people understand.
