We always thought NBA players spent halftime taking a breather, getting a drink of water, and going over a few plays from the first half. Apparently, we were wrong. According to ESPN beat writer Brian Windhorst, Zydrunas Ilgauskas spent halftime of the Heat/Knicks game last night trying to sell Carmelo Anthony on a piece of property he owns in NYC. His pitch: That the place is "awesome with 5 bedrooms." Um...SOLD? We're sure LaLa will be thrilled! But, seriously: Closing costs on a place in NYC must be a bitch if NBA players are resorting to pushing their own properties these days, huh? [via Twitter]
