Subaru's Impreza Concept was one of the most stunning reveals at Los Angeles' 2010 Auto Show. But alas, it was only a concept. However, Inside Line has reported that the next generation Impreza, likely to be a bit scaled down from its teaser version, will be released sooner than expected. Tom Doll, Executive Vice President of Subaru America confirmed the 2012 version will go on sale this August, in both sedan and hatch form. That makes an official reveal at New York's show in April a pretty good bet.
No word yet on STI versions, but if the lines and form pictured here hold up, the AWD automaker could have another hit on its hands.
