We gotta take a moment to give two thumbs up to Knicks GM Donnie Walsh who had this to say yesterday when asked about the rumors that Knicks owner James Dolan consulted with Isiah Thomas about the Carmelo Anthony deal: "I have no idea, only what I read in your paper. I'm assuming Isiah's getting ready for the NCAA tournament. That's what I'm assuming." You know what they say about assuming. Thomas' Florida International University squad is actually 9-17 and dead last in the remarkably-bad Sun Belt Conference with next to no chance to make the NCAAs.
