We hate to do this to you. But listen up, fans of the Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Bobcats, Memphis Grizzlies, and Los Angeles Clippers: You have a zero percent chance of winning an NBA 'chip anytime soon. Sad but true. If 'Melo's defection from Denver to New York to team up with Amar'e Stoudemire proves anything, it's that the NBA is becoming more and more like English soccer's Premier League where—as The Wall Street Journal pointed out today—just four teams have finished in the top three in the standings in the last seven years. Translation: If you're not a fan of the Heat, the Knicks, the Magic, the Lakers and maybe teams like the Bulls, Spurs, and Thunder, your team has no shot. Sorry! [via The Wall Street Journal]
