The engine you see above is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder powerplant capable of putting down 220 horses. Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait for this motor to make its way into stateside Regals. At the moment, the Regal CXL comes with a 182-horsepower four-cylinder engine that, while competent enough for city driving, is as unexciting as a Nicky Hilton autobiography. Passing on the highway is a chore as it loses breath quickly. It's a shame, because a chassis like the one the Regal has deserves a better motor. Thankfully, one is one the way.
