Top Pick, Top Kicks: The Sneaker Deals of NBA Draft #1s


So, yeah: John Wall. To nobody's surprise, the Kentucky guard was chosen by the Washington Wizards as the top overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft last night. But the real shocker came two weeks ago, when we learned that Wall signed his sneaker deal with Reebok. Not that we don't have love for the 'Bok, but a betting man probably would've had Wall inking up with the almighty Swoosh or the Three Stripes. Good on you, John, for being a non-conformist. With his five-year, $25 million contract in mind, we went back and tracked the rookie sneaker deals of the last 10 number-one picks, from Kenyon Martin to Kwame "FAIL" Brown" and more...

    Not everybody that can hoop deserves a shoe. Think about it, does every rapper deserve a plaque? No? Thought so

    Who cares if he lied. Congress lies to all of us all the time and get away with it. I'm not saying it's okay to lie, but if Congress isn't held to the same standard then what's the point......:-)
