If you're in the NYC area, Puma City down at the South Street Seaport is one of the great places to catch the World Cup matches. There is World Cup viewing during the day at the Puma Red Bar, and parties at the Puma Social Club most nights.
We headed down to Puma City on Saturday for the USA vs. Ghana match, and the vuvuzelas were out in force. The United States may have lost, but we still had a good time. It's time to dust off the shoulders, pick a new favorite team, and show the world what we do best; drink heavily, yell loudly, root for frontrunners, and yes, still call it soccer. Hit the jump to see images from Saturday's throwdown, and make sure to go check out Puma City before it's all over. Pumacity.com has the full event listing for the space.

Dude in the raybans was the douchiest person there. I'm sure that's why you snapped a picture of him.

puma city is ok, but that screen could be bigger. The beer garden studio square in queens is the best place to watch a game.
