Wanderlei Silva vs. Kazushi Sakuraba,

Director:
Artist: PRIDE 13
You Aughta Know:
blog_gallery_year: 3/25/2001

PRIDE allowed knees to the head shortly before this fight, which was awesome for Sakuraba, who lost to Silva by TKO after getting dropped with a standing knee strike, then repeatedly kneed in the face and head. After losing, the Japanese fighter showed respect by taking off his personalized belt and giving it to the victorious Brazilian. Dizzy rascal.

"Three matches into the longest winning streak in MMA history (10 wins)..." This is incorrect. He has the longest UFC winning streak, which is a far cry from mma history. See Bas Rutten, Fedor Emelienenko, Igor Vovchanchyn, Lyoto Machida, etc...

"longest winning streak in MMA history..." is inaccurate. UFC for MMA does. Silva ftw. Franklin's awesome use of AC/DC's version of the gladiator shout-out to the caesar: "morituri te salutant" is worth the win tho.
