Mark Kerr broke his hand early in his pro debut, but that was ok, since his knees worked just fine. The complete destruction of Varelans produced an early classic in the canon of MMA commentary: "He was brutally brutalized..." Howard Cosell it ain't, but it's got a certain ring to it.

"Three matches into the longest winning streak in MMA history (10 wins)..." This is incorrect. He has the longest UFC winning streak, which is a far cry from mma history. See Bas Rutten, Fedor Emelienenko, Igor Vovchanchyn, Lyoto Machida, etc...

"longest winning streak in MMA history..." is inaccurate. UFC for MMA does. Silva ftw. Franklin's awesome use of AC/DC's version of the gladiator shout-out to the caesar: "morituri te salutant" is worth the win tho.
