With the 35th anniversary of Nike's all-time best-selling shoe on the horizon, Nike launches the Pegasus 35.
First debuted in 1983, the Pegasus was named after the mythical beast of the same name as a representation of fast movement and the allure of flight.
Throughout its 35 years lifespan, the shoe has undergone several updates as a direct response to the needs of the world's best runners. Feedback has been used to ensure the shoe provides the best support possible.
Added improvements included a notched tongue to make the shoe easier to pull on and off, improved comfort and flexion, a beveled heel, full length articulated Nike Zoom airbag and a new shape that offers responsive cushioning.
