Preceding Jerry Lorenzo's highly anticipated Nike debut, the Air Skylon 2 retro will release in a variety of 90s-flavored styles beginning next month.
The cult classic trainer, originally introduced in 1992, is set to hit retail in "Grand Purple" and "Solar Red" colorways. Part of the Bowerman series of technical performance models, the Air Skylon 2 is highlighted by its unique graphic pattern along the quarters, retro poster-style branding on the heel and Nike International insoles.
While Nike hasn't officially made the announcement, retailer Sneakersnstuff is listing Saturday, June 2 as the release date for these two colorways.
UPDATE (07/25): After being pushed back from their initial retro release date in early June, these two colorways of the Air Skylon 2 will be returning early next week. Both the "Solar Red" and "Grand Purple" pairs will be available via Nike SNKRS and other select retailers on Monday, July 30 for $100 each.
