After leaking in the form of a yet-to-be-released Dragon Ball Z collaboration, Adidas Originals' newest model, the Kamanda, is almost here.
Inspired by the '80s English soccer movement known as terrace culture, this sneaker combines a Samba-like upper with a chunky gum sole reminiscent of the Prophere. Unlike that shoe, the Kamanda looks more like something from the Originals archive with updated details.
The brand likens the Kamanda to the culture's "alternative point of view on society and a desire to stay away from mainstream style values." A collaboration with Italian brand C.P. Company—a terrace staple—is also in the works.
The Kamanda will release Saturday, April 28 for $150 from Adidas Originals retailers in black/gum and burgundy/gum colorways.
