In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the iconic Puma Suede, the brand has released the Golden Suede.
Puma pays homage to the classic Suede silhouette with a sneaker that forgoes the model’s definitive suede upper. The limited edition Golden Suede features a shimmering metallic gold leather upper that takes Puma’s foil branding to new extremes. Flashy!
The insole of the left shoe is stamped with 1948, while the right shoe is stamped with 2018.
The Golden Suede is the first in a series of upcoming releases that celebrate the 50th year of the classic kicks. Puma will continue the celebrations later this month when they its first collaboration with Big Sean. First previewed at ComplexCon in November, the Big Sean x Puma Suede 50 collection includes a new take on the traditionally low-top silhouette. Reimagined as a mid-top with an updated lacing system, sock-like collar, and exaggerated midsole, the collab's debut style (available March 22) features a white colorway with blue and green accents throughout.
