After selling off most of his personal sneaker collection in 2015 to fund his own eponymous footwear line, lauded customizer and sneaker icon John Geiger still has some heat he’s willing to part with. From the very first shoe he ever helped design for Nike to a deadstock pair of OG John Geiger 001s, eight pairs from what’s left of the designer’s personal stash are now up for sale on letgo—a free mobile marketplace where folks can buy and sell secondhand items by simply submitting an offer and requesting a meet-up.

For a chance to own some of Geiger’s most cherished kicks, potential buyers will need to act fast, as listings for all eight pairs will shut down Friday, March 23. With the proceeds of each purchase going to Brudas, Inc., NBA guard Iman Shumpert’s non-profit and youth basketball program, Geiger says each shoe is worth every penny it’s listed at. Starting with a pair of Reebok Questions, designed in collaboration with Shumpert’s wife, Teyana Taylor, read on as Geiger breaks down the backstory behind each pair of sneakers on the auction block.
