Following the success of Nike SB and Soulland's FRI.day collaboration, the two brands have once again come together to deliver the second installment – FRI.day part 0.2.
Soulland has taken it upon themselves to complete the lap of honour following a strong year of 15th anniversary celebrations of the Nike Dunk. The collaboration marks the final Dunk release of 2017, using an unconventional deconstructed aesthetic and playful approach to fabric and detailing.
FRI.day 0.2 looks to the movement of Nordic skaters from low temperatures, rugged weather, and the absence of light to the heat of California.
Keeping true to the spirit of Soulland, the brand took to unconventional skate locations to channel the true spirit of skateboarding.
Speaking on the second installment of the collaboration, Soulland's creative director Silas Adler said: “We’re happy to continue the collaboration with Nike. It’s been a pleasure as both a designer and a skateboarder to work on such a classic as the dunk. It has particularly been fun with the creative freedom that allowed us to give it a complete overhaul.”
Soulland's bold take on the Dunk Low Pro and Dunk High Pro will be released alongside the iconic destroyer jacket and seven additional pieces of apparel.
The collection will be available via Soulland and Colette on December 8th, and selected stores on December 15th.
