Nike are celebrating the legacy of the Air Force 1 by documenting the shoe's impact and influence on the streets of London.

Since its launch in 1982, the Air Force 1 has gone from basketball staple to a street style legend and, as we approach 2018, the shoe is still one of the cornerstones of London's street culture. By the late 90s, the AF-1 was king of the underground in London and by the early 2000s—with JD Sports stocking limited-edition colourways exclusive to London—the AF-1 put London's sneaker culture firmly on the map.

As a testament to the staying power and signature styling of the AF-1 in London, Nike called upon the city's next generation of Air Force 1 fans to drop-in at an open photo shoot to star in the 'Look of Force' lookbook alongside AJ Tracey and Little Simz.

See London's lookbook of Force here, and in Niketown London from December 7. Get your Nike Air Force 1 at Nike.com.
