The last pick in the 2011 draft, 5'9" guard Isaiah Thomas has turned himself into a two-time NBA All-Star and MVP candidate. Next on his agenda? Becoming the league's next signature sneaker endorser.

In a tweet sent yesterday, Thomas showed love to the signature models made for his Nike Basketball brandmates and expressed desire to have one of his own.

Man I gotta get my own shoe!!! Bron kicks be dope, PG kicks be crazy, Kyrie got flavors for days, KD joints be filthy and my man Kobe’s shoes are the best

During stints with Reebok and Nike, Thomas has worn Player Exclusive colorways of existing models. Some of his shoes, such as the Reebok Kamikaze, Nike Zoom Hyperlive, Zoom Live and Hypershift have even made it to retail. For Thomas, who's spent his entire career defying the odds, special make-ups aren't enough.

Thomas signed with Nike during the fall of 2015. With Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly the next in line for a signature model with the brand, the space may be a little crowded for a Thomas shoe at the moment. However, it wouldn't be the first time he tipped an unlikely scenario in his favor through nothing but hard work and determination.
