There’s a harsh winter on the horizon, at least according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac. Dreading the wrath of winter? Thankfully, Converse has launched a Counter Climate nubuck boot to help battle the upcoming climate shifts.
The innovative sneaker boot collection stays faithful to the classic Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette while utilizing a waterproof nubuck leather upper, a vulcanized rubber outsole and a comfy internal neoprene bootie to help keep the water out and keep your feet warm. The sneaker boot also features a lugged outsole for added traction on the ice and a leather heel tab ensuring they’re easy to slide on and off.
Converse launched their winterized Chuck Taylor All Star Counter Climate collection in 2016, but this year’s collection of nubuck sneaker boots takes things up a notch. The unisex sneaker boot retails for $150 CAD/$140 USD and is available in four on-trend, earth-tone colourways: black, sangria, mason and raw sugar. The women’s sneaker boot, which also retails for $150 CAD/$140 USD is available in black, midnight navy, brown, and malt and features gunmetal fashion hardware.
