Macklemore Shows Off His Never-Before-Seen Jordan Collabs On Complex Closets

Macklemore shows Joe La Puma his sneaker collection for the latest episode of Complex Closets and shows samples of his Air Jordan collaboration.

Grammy-winning artist Macklemore has reached the top of the charts and has become one of the most respected entertainers in the sneaker community, thanks to his attention to detail when it comes to footwear, and Complex’s Joe La Puma recently got the chance to explore his collection for the latest episode of Complex Closets.

In the episode, Macklemore talks about how he got the chance to design his own Air Jordans and how it started with doing a pair of Carmelo Anthony’s shoes. He also shows never-seen-before Air Jordan VIs that he worked on with Jordan Brand, and one of the pairs is very similar to the upcoming “Gatorade” version of the sneaker. Macklemore also reveals that he the VaporMax is one of his favorite sneakers right now, and he really wants the pair that Virgil Abloh designed. He goes on to talk about how his manager didn’t send the Air Jordans he designed to his friends, Nike sending him the exclusive Air Jordan for Kobe Bryant’s retirement that are worth $30,000, and shows some of his favorite vintage jackets.
