Have you ever wanted to go Sneaker Shopping with Joe La Puma and Complex? You'll need to become a celebrity or someone of public interest. But if that's not in your cards in the near future, we're giving you the next best thing: a Virtual Reality experience of the YouTube series.
For the first episode of VR Sneaker Shopping, La Puma takes rapper G-Eazy on a shopping spree at Flight Club in Los Angeles. To view the episode, read the instructions. This is the future of sneaker videos on YouTube.
To view this video on your smartphone:
Make sure your phone is connected to the internet (best with WiFi)
Download the YouTube app to your phone or make sure it’s updated to the most recent version.
To view Sneaker Shopping in VR, you can watch it on the Internet in what's known as "360" video format. To be clear: This is not true VR. (It's not immersive; it's not 3D). But the YouTube player makes it easy view 360° content through your browser.
Play the video and follow any instructions that YouTube may give.
After hitting "Play," click and drag on the video to navigate left, right, up, and down.
Wear your headphones. If that’s not possible, turn your internal volume to the highest setting.
The video looks funny when I play it. What should I do?
First, make sure that the center of your phone’s screen is perfectly lined up with your VR viewer. You might need to adjust your phone’s screen as you are looking through the viewer.
If that doesn’t work, try turning off the zoom setting on your device. For an iPhone 6, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom > View > Standard. For an iPhone 5, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom.
Stay tuned for more Complex VR videos.
