Sneakers have become increasingly popular in Australia since the early 00s, but the bulk of the releases, marketing and retail space has been geared toward the guys. Finally, in 2016, we have a sneaker store which is 100% for the ladies.
Based in Melbourne, Sole Finess will be stocking Nike, adidas, Reebok, New Balance, Vans and Saucony, with Le Coq Sportif joining in September. Not only will the major brands be on board, but most will be stocking the site with premium and top tier products.
Speaking about the site, owner Murata PJs said “there has never been a women's dedicated sneaker destination in Australia or New Zealand, so girls find it really difficult to get what they want here. We also want to help push the sneaker culture in the same direction as Europe and Asia”
“Plus, it's not just sneakers, we are building a creative platform for ladies to flex their talents and we will work with them through our blog so that will be a relly big part of it.”
