The Chinese Brand That Copied Under Armour's Logo Denied Any Wrongdoing

The Chinese brand that copied Under Armour's says it has done nothing wrong.

As expected, the Chinese brand Uncle Martian has publicly denied copying Under Armour's logo. Word of the logo rip off came after photos from the brand's launch event ended up online last week, but Uncle Martian is not ready to admit wrongdoing yet. The Wall Street JournalChina Real Time Report spoke to the head of marketing of the brand's parent company Tingfei LongSporting Goods Co., who denied that the brand had copied anything from Under Armour.

“We’re focusing on developing our own brand, and our brand has nothing to do with theirs at all," said head of marketing Zheng Maoxin. While it isn't a huge surprise that the brand would take this stance, the similarities between the two logos are undeniable. The brand said that Under Armour has yet to contact them, but we can't imagine it plans on letting this go without a fight.
