Fresh off the news about the Kyrie 2 "Kyrache," comes another modern Nike sneaker inspired by a '90s colorway. The latest comes on the LeBron XIII, which borrows the famous "Hot Lime" colorway from the Nike Command Force. O.G. fans will recognize this colorway from the movie White Men Can't Jump, where the character Billy Hoyle wore this 1991 release.

While we've seen many modern sneakers inspired by past models and colorways before, this LeBron XIII looks to be part of a Nike trend that utilizes classic colorways. Russ Bengtson recently wrote a piece on this idea, suggesting that this could be the solution for combining "nostalgia and performance," and the future of retro releases. Whether this will prove to become a long-term strategy from Nike, or just a short trend, this is a great way for fans to get a mix of the past and present on one sneaker.

Nike Blogreports that this sneaker will release on June 11, for $200.
