Thanks to "basketball reasons," we never got a chance to see Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul team up as teammates for the Los Angeles Lakers, and instead, they became cross-town rivals when Paul ended up on the Los Angeles Clippers. The two superstars faced each other one last time at Staples Center last night, and Paul was gifted a pair of signed sneakers from Bryant after the game.

We've come to expect this sneaker gift giving from Bryant during his farewell tour, but the pair Paul got is extra special. While most players have gotten Kobe's signature sneakers, Paul received a pair of Air Jordan IIIs from the "Lakers" PE pack. As we all know, Paul is a Jordan Brand athlete, so getting a pair of Js signed by Bryant is an amazing and thoughtful gift. Along with his signature, Bryant wrote that Paul is "one of the greatest competitors of all time." With only a few games left in the season, we look forward to what else Bryant has in store.
