With Air Jordan Retros dropping on a near-weekly basis, there are a ton of colorways that inevitably see reissue after reissue—the "Olympic" Jordan VIIs, "Black/Metallic" Jordan Vs, and "Bred" Jordan 1s are just a few examples of make ups that have seen numerous releases over the last decade. If you're feeling burnt out on the same colorways year after year, this upcoming release might be able to reignite your interest.

For the first time since its debut in 2001, the "White/Varsity Red" Air Jordan XI is set to hit shelves in 2016. This retro has been rumored for awhile now, but with images finally beginning to surface, it looks like a release is imminent. From what we can see here, these are an extremely accurate retro of the 2001 release, complete with a white ballistic mesh upper, translucent outsole, and of course, that candy apple red patent leather.

No release details are available for these yet, but we wouldn't be shocked to see these drop sometime this summer. Check back soon for a confirmed date and price point.
