It looks like Nike has a very special surprise up its sleeve for Air Jordan fans.

Earlier today, a placeholder page appeared on Nike's SNKRS app which featured the gold Jordan IV pictured above. This colorway dips the entire sneaker in a metallic coating, resulting in a Jordan IV reminiscent of previous Nike "Liquid Metal" releases.

Unfortunately, the mysterious page does not contain any further details about the sneaker. A message at the top of the page reads "Reserved-Unlock" followed by the gold Jordan IV image and a shot of the just-released "White/Cement" IVs towards the bottom. You can check out the page for yourself here on mobile devices.

These days, it's rare that a sneaker surfaces without any prior leaks or info, but from the looks of things, this could be a throwback to the days of true Quickstrike releases with little to no warning. Check back soon for an official update.
