It's been over a decade since adidas debuted Climacool technology on sneakers with the eponymous Climacool runner, and the Originals division has just announced that the innovative model is coming back.
The O.G. adidas Climacool will return in three tonal colorways. This 2002 sneaker is best known for introducing Climacool tech, which saw the entire sneaker wrapped in a breathable mesh and even allowed airflow through the midsole. During a time before knit constructions were commonplace, the Climacool was about as ventilated as a runner could hope for. Plus, aside from being a notable tech breakthrough, it didn't hurt that the Climacool looked great, too.
Now, it's set to make a comeback in white, red, and a yet to be unveiled third tonal colorway. The drop is set for April 2.
