Athletes who are connected to the University of North Carolina — Michael Jordan's alma mater — better have a love for Air Jordans, and New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey surely does. The Mets' ace is regularly spotted with a Jumpman logo on his feet, and he even has something special in the works with Nike. For the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, Harvey and Joe La Puma went to Stadium Goods in New York City and connected over shoes.
Harvey tells a story about getting a pair of Air Jordan XIs stolen from him during his days at UNC and even talks about getting his own cleat with Nike in the near future. That's not the only thing that Harvey and La Puma discussed, though: There was also the talk of high-fashion brands getting their own collaborations with Jordan Brand, too.
