Inspired by American high school letterman jackets, this March will see Saucony release the Grid 9000 ‘Letterman’.
Based off the casual attire of high school sports teams, the 'Letterman' release features black smooth premium leather across the toe box and charcoal heathered wool for the panels and through the heels. Red detailing is also visible across the sides and on the laces, while a large red-wooled 'S' letterman-style logo is present on the tongue. This is capped off fittingly with ’1896’ embroidered on the back of the heel (which is the year Saucony was founded), a white midsole and a gum outsole.
The Saucony Grid 9000 ‘Letterman’ will release be on March 3 at select retailers for $120 (£85). For a closer look at the sneakers peep the gallery below.
