Sneakerheads are about to experience the California Gold Rush for themselves with Nike's latest Air Force 1 release.

Shared on Sole Collector, Nike appears to have made a limited edition Air Force 1 to commemorate Super Bowl 50. The pair is a "Liquid Gold" AF1 Low and based on the message included with it, the pair could be a San Francisco exclusive. No word on where the shoes were released other than its from "a space that once produced gold for the nation." If you're in the SF area, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for this special pair.

For the rest of us, we'll have to settle for the less shiny, but still very dope, Nike Air Force 1 Hi "Metallic Gold" which drops February 10.

Last month, we shared Nike's "Super Bowl 50 Nike Speed Destroyed" collection, a set of four sneakers with black and gold as the unifying theme. If you missed out on it, you can view the post here.
