Just when it seemed like the "Damn Daniel" buzz might have reached a boiling point, the meme of the moment continues to surge.

With the original Twitter video approaching nearly 300,000 retweets, Sole Collector noticed that the viral clip has also made an impact beyond social media. Currently, an eBay search for "damn daniel" yields more than 400 auction results for white Vans sneakers, many of which have been inflated to prices that are so preposterous, they make even the most expensive Yeezy listings look surprisingly reasonable.

To top it off, a search of completed listings shows that several pairs have actually ended in the five-figure range, although it's hard to imagine that anyone actually ended up paying when it was all said and done. Regardless, this is proof that the "Damn Daniel" hype is still very, very real.
