The brand may not have the name recognition as its more popular competitors, but Collegium is out to prove its footwear quality is second to none.

"Vachetta Tan" has undoubtedly been one of the hotter colors in the shoe game over the past several months, and although Collegium's latest offering bears a striking resemblance to the color, its version is a high quality "Vegetable Tanned" 100 percent full grain Italian leather that the brand promises will age gracefully over time. For its latest Pillar Low release, Collegium made use of an early 20th century tannery that specializes in vegetable tanning and spent a total of seven months producing the shoe which included procuring and preparing the leather to its exact specifications.

Over time and with daily wear, the shoe will develop a patina - a darkening of the leather - giving the shoe its own unique character. Limited to only 75 pairs, this Made in Italy product finds itself competing amongst several of the most hyped releases of the year when it drops this All-Star Weekend.

Fans looking to cop can purchase the Pillar Lows directly from the Collegium's website this coming Valentine's Day.
