At the top of the year, we broke the news that adidas would finally be introducing colored Boost foam starting with an upcoming NMD Runner. It didn't take long before other outlets began whipping up Photoshops of what the sneakers might look like, but instead of renderings, we've got the first in-hand look at the actual sneakers.

Photographer Jason Henley shared these images on Instagram, which were then spotted by @boostVIBES and retweeted by adidas' own Jon Wexler, so you know they're the real deal. The sneakers sport a mostly all-black upper with dashes of white around the striped ankle collar and Japanese text on the EVA plug at the front, which translates loosely to "Three Stripes brand."

There's no confirmed drop date for these yet, but rumors point to a May release. And as dope as these are, they're only scratching the surface of colored Boost possibilities, so stay tuned to see what else adidas has planned.
