The start of Supreme's Spring/Summer 2016 season is just around the corner, which means you can expect to see at least one sneaker collaboration with Vans. Today, we're getting an early look at what the brand may have planned.

A set of images from @bellsupreme depicts a new Supreme x Vans Authentic collab that should look familiar for a few reasons. For starters, the Authentic is one of Supreme's most frequently used silhouettes — a quick Google Search reveals dozens of variations and colorways throughout the years.

There's also the signature Vans checkerboard print, which dates back to some of the brand's earliest releases. Here, it's been redesigned by Supreme with fragments of its infamous box logo appearing on each black square. To add some contrast, the remaining checkerboard panels are off-white, while the laces and midsole retain a true white look.

For now, these images will have to hold you over, as there's no official release details for these yet. However, Supreme's first Spring/Summer 2016 drop should be arriving in February, so they shouldn't be too far off. Stay tuned.
