New York City has long been considered one of the sneaker capitals of the world, and in turn, gets plenty of love from brands when it comes to honoring it. From Carmelo Anthony and Spike Lee's allegiance to the Knicks, to classic Michael Jordan moments at Madison Square Garden, New York City and Jordan Brand have a long history. To honor NYC, it looks like Jordan Brand has a special colorway of the X dropping this year.

We got first word about the drop a few months ago, when it was rumored that the Air Jordan X "City Pack" would make a comeback in 2016, and now ZSneakerHeadz gives us a better idea of what the NYC colorway will look like. This sneaker looks to use a black base with gold details, in a possible tribute to the Statue of Liberty. The "City Pack" has always been considered some of the best Air Jordan X releases, and now fans will have a chance to own part of the next chapter in it.

This sneaker is expected to release this April.
