There is no question that Kobe Bryant is basketball royalty, and to honor his elite status in the history of the game, Nike has a "Last Emperor" colorway coming out next week. An emperor is defined as someone who rules an empire, which could be said about Bryant's time in the NBA.

This sneaker uses a monochrome black and white colorway, with hints of red on the insole and left heel. Like all Kobe XIs, this sneaker has the stitch lines featured on the left heel to represent the most trying injury in Bryant's career, and a unique symbol on the right heel made specifically for this "Last Emperor" theme. The game of basketball has undoubtedly changed since Bryant entered the league, and this theme accurately represents his place as one of the last from a fading era.

This sneaker will release on Feb. 4 for $200.
