From its storied Flimby factory to numerous UK-inspired collections, New Balance has never been shy about embracing its ties to England. Fittingly, the brand's latest pack pays homage to the subculture of football — better known as soccer here in the States.
The New Balance made in England "Football Pack" flashes back to the brand's Flimby-made Epic boot from the '90s by transplanting its upper onto a brand new sneaker, the aptly named Epic TR (pictured in the middle above and first below). The leather-based silhouette sports a mostly black upper, with contrasting white hits appearing at the tongue, heel, 'N' branding, and midsole.
This monochromatic color blocking is also applied to the other sneakers in the pack, the 577 and 1500, both of which should look familiar. Collectively, this three-pack is easily wearable, whether you're catching a riveting match with your mates or getting sloshed off a few pints at the local pub.
The New Balance "Football Pack" arrives on February 1. Take a closer look at the full lineup below.
