Carmelo Anthony's no stranger to insaneAir Jordan PEs, but this one may very well take the cake for the dopest of the bunch.
New images courtesy of Sole Collector and @depeche23mode bring the best look yet at these rarely seen "Olympic Laser" Air Jordan IVs made exclusively for Melo. These were designed to commemorate the opening ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, although Anthony never actually played in this pair. They're essentially a navy blue version of the sought after "Laser" colorways from 2004, and were accompanied by an equally rare white-based "Olympic Laser" Jordan IV in 2008.
Unfortunately, it's been nearly a decade at this point, so it looks like there aren't any plans to bring these out of the PE vaults. Nevertheless, Nike and Jordan Brand have made it clear that they have some huge plans for this year's Olympic Games.
