Tomorrow the University of North Carolina men's basketball team will take on the undefeated Maryland Terrapins, and they'll be lacing up a special pair of Air Jordans when they take the court. Following in the steps of other Jordan Brand-sponsored universities, the Tar Heels received a PE version of the Air Jordan XX9.
Jordan Brand took to Instagram to preview this PE which features the school's ram mascot "Rameses" prominently on the upper. As expected, the rest of the sneaker uses Carolina Blue and white, to perfectly match the Tar Heels' uniforms. Just another perk of playing at Michael Jordan's alma mater.
