Back in 2008, Nike shook up the basketball sneaker landscape with the Zoom Kobe IV, a low top design inspired by Kobe Bryant's love for soccer. Since then, we've seen the line go even lower, then higher, and finally come full circle, settling on the minimal cut of Bryant's final on-court shoe, the Kobe 11.

Sparked by the Kobe 11's minimal build and obvious soccer inspiration, designer Brett Golliff cooked up nine colorways with palettes and materials lifted from some of Nike's most memorable soccer cleats. There's Mercurial-inspired makeups, Tiempo colorways, and much more.

Unfortunately, these are strictly renderings for now, but hopefully Nike will catch wind of these and end up releasing something similar before it's all said and done. Until then, the Kobe 11 will debut in an "Achilles Heel" colorway on January 9.
