The Air Max 1 made history when it debuted in 1987 with its visible air unit, and now Nike is combining that game-changing design with one of its most popular new technologies. The Flyknit Air Max 1 not only using the famous sneaker design, but it also borrows the original "Sport Red" colorway, too.

While the construction of the O.G. Air Max 1 is much different from Flyknit sneakers today, Nike made sure to properly distribute the traditional colors of red, grey and white throughout the seamless upper to do this classic colorway justice. Some may say argue that classic sneakers should be left alone, but Nike did a great job mixing past and present with this pair.

According to Nike Blog, these sneakers will release in early 2016.
