Putting Flyknit on any Nike sneaker instantly makes it better, or at least will get people to talk about it on the Internet. After seeing that Nike is going to make a Flyknit Air Force 1 very soon, there's another sneaker from the brand's archives that's getting this makeover, too: the Air Max 1.
Thanks to a few leaked images from Nike Blog, it's seen that there are two planned versions for this execution: one in grey and the other in what appears to be an orange.
This idea has been kicking around for some time since an image of a supposed "Multicolor" Flyknit Air Max 1 circulated a few years ago. People have even placed Air Max 1 soles with Flyknit Racer uppers. But this is finally the real deal.
The results for now are a bit under-whelming, but it's an idea that many people will get behind.
