As the Air Max 90's 25th anniversary comes to a close, it looks like Nike still has one final surprise up its sleeve for fans of the O.G. "Infrared" look.

Just when we thought the brand had exhausted its options with "Cork" and "Croc" variations of the iconic colorway, Nike found a way to breathe new life into the neck-breaking style.

Known as the Air Max 90 Ultra Essential, this model follows in the footsteps of previous Essential releases by stripping down the materials for a more lightweight and modernized build. It's achieved thanks to tech like Hypefuse and engineered mesh, which means these 90s will be feel more comfortable while remaining as stylish as ever.

These have already started popping up — and promptly selling out in many sizes — at overseas locations like Afew, but we're hearing that a stateside drop is in the works. For now, there are still select sizes available here for right around $158. Take another look below.
