Although they're not an O.G. colorway, sneakerheads have been thirsting for the return of the "French Blue" Jordan XIIs for quite some time now, and we're happy to confirm that the wait is almost over.

In this latest batch of images of the 2016 pair, we're able to get a better idea of the details that will make up the sneaker. They're about as close to the 2004 release as one could hope for, and honestly, if we didn't know any better, we probably wouldn't be able to tell them apart based on images alone.

Everything's here, from the metallic silver hits to the red accents on the heel branding and the outsole's carbon fiber pattern. What's more is that we're hearing these will be packaged with a Retro card, adding yet another nostalgic touch.

The only drawback with these "French Blue" XIIs is that the release is still a few months away. They're tentatively set for March 26 at $190 and will be accompanied by "Flu Game," "Cherry," and "The Master" XIIs next year.
