After turning Nike staples like the Air Max 1 and Air Huarache into Visvim-like moccasins, classically trained shoemaker Randy the Cobbler has turned his attention to the Three Stripes.

More specifically, he's taking on adidas Boost cushioning for one of his most daring ventures yet. Sticking with the tan moc upper of Minnentonka's Classic Fringe boot, Randy's latest creation adds the cloud-like midsole of the adidas Pure Boost 2. This project wasn't just a simple cut and paste, either, as he even went as far as to add a Boost logo to one of the fringes at the heel that matches a small hit of infrared on the outsole.

As great as these look, the area where these customs are really going to shine is their comfort, something that only one lucky sneakerhead will have the chance to experience. That's because this creation is a strict one-of-one and is set to be auctioned off in collaboration with Manor Phoenix at this weekend's Kicks for Kids charity event.

It all goes down this weekend in Scottsdale, Ariz., and you can find the full details in the flyer below.
