Nike's Factory Outlets, with their discounted "hash" walls, where the brand cuts the tops off boxes and sells the sneakers at discounted prices, are things of legend to athletic footwear nuts. Many of these shops are located across the country or in obscure towns and cities, but one has opened a stone's throw from New York City in Newark, N.J., according to NJ.com.

The store is located in Newark's downtown area, situated on the corner of Broad Street and Cedar Street, and welcomed business on Thursday. The good news about this store is that it's located only two train stops from New York City's Penn Station via NJ Transit, which is more than worth the trip on the weekend.

Stop in the store, pick up a pair of samples, and everything else the Garden State has to offer. Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese, anyone?
