As Nike unveiled its 2015 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection Friday night, it also announced a dozen pairs of a very special Air Jordan XII which would be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds benefiting the Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Known as the #DBDozen, this XII was created by Mark Smith and Tinker Hatfield and the first auction is currently on eBay with bids already exceeding $10,000.

In addition to the Freestyle Collection and the aforementioned #DBDozen, a pair of even more exclusive XIIs also made an appearance at the Portland Art Museum. Longtime sneakerhead and Current Anaheim Angel, Shane Victorino, was gifted with a one-of-one pair of lasered Doernbecher Air Jordan XII Retros in "French Blues." The shoe features an all-over print pattern highlighted by graphics meaningful to Victorino's life and came packaged in an ornate box which incorporated intricate graphics as a nod to Victorino's Hawaiian heritage.
