Despite ending in injury, last season was a big one for Kyrie Irving. He made it to the NBA Playoffs and Finals for the first time, and released his first signature sneaker. The Nike Kyrie 1 was well received, and considered by many to be one of the best signature sneaker debuts in a long time. Like with his performance on the court this coming season, there is a lot anticipation about his second signature sneaker, and now we have the clearest look at it so far.

Unlike the leaked images we saw in August, these show the sneaker in full, giving us a clear shot at what Irving will be playing in this season. This sneaker shares a Hyperfuse upper with the Kyrie 1, but the real standout detail here is how different the two models look. The most significant change up is the addition of the Dynamic Fit cross-strap, which will certainly draw comparisons to the Nike KD IV. Fans of the Nike Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving lines shouldn't be surprised, considering designer Leo Chang's involvement in both. It isn't clear whether he'll start the season off wearing these, but expect to start seeing more colorways of this sneaker coming soon.

This Bright Crimson, Atomic Orange, and black colorway is set to release on Jan. 1 for $125, at Nike.com.
